Abstract
The aim of the study is to assess liquidity on the basis of the consolidated and individual financial statements of capital groups and their parent companies, which are on the RESPECT Index. Research questions were formulated, which concerned the relationship between the company’s activities in the area of social engagement and results in the area of liquidity, the impact of the inclusion of CSR to the strategy of the company for financial liquidity, assessing the financial liquidity of capital groups and their parent companies which are engaged in CSR activities, the differences in assessing the liquidity of capital groups and their parent companies. It is very likely the existence of link between the company’s activities in the area of social engagement and results in the area of liquidity. The financial liquidity of capital groups and their parent companies is on a very high level. The situation of capital groups is presented preferably in terms of liquidity ratios than their parent companies. Liquidity ratios based on consolidated and the individual financial statements do not differ significantly and there is a high correlation between the values of the calculated ratios for the capital group and its parent company.
